Scenic Park
Scenic Park was initially master-planned by a consultant team out of Portland, OR. Kerry KenCairn was hired to actualize the master plan through meetings with the City of Ashland Parks Commission and interested stakeholders. Putting the conceptual master plan on the ground involved the coordination of site survey information and the creation of a full set of construction documents, bid coordination, and assisting the parks superintendent with construction administration. Scenic Park's passive elements provide views and open space for the neighborhood while its active elements include two small playground areas and a community garden site.
